Alexander “Alex” Blishteyn is Of Counsel in Chartwell Law’s White Plains office. Alex is a seasoned defense attorney handling general liability litigation and insurance defense matters.
Alex began his career in medical malpractice defense and has also served as a small claims arbitrator in Civil Court. Before joining Chartwell Law, Alex spent nearly two decades as in-house trial counsel in the corporate law department of a national insurance company, where he zealously represented clients in high-exposure matters through all stages of litigation, from inception to disposition. Alex’s “client-first” approach, attention to detail, and penchant for thoroughness in discovery proceedings routinely yields optimal results for clients by way of judicial dismissals, advantageous settlements, and favorable jury verdicts and arbitration awards.
When he is not working, Alex enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and tinkering with computers and other electronics
