Lori DePolis focuses her practice on the defense of workers’ compensation matters on behalf of insurance carriers, self-insured entities and third-party administrators in Pennsylvania. She defends employers in work-related injury cases brought against them.

Lori DePolis focuses her practice on the defense of workers’ compensation matters on behalf of insurance carriers, self-insured entities and third-party administrators in Pennsylvania. She defends employers in work-related injury cases brought against them.

Ms. DePolis, a partner in Chartwell's Valley Forge office, handles cases in industries including trucking, landscaping, construction, warehouse/assembly line, and  variety of others as well.

Prior to joining Chartwell, she was an attorney at another Philadelphia area firm where she defended insurance companies in matters involving commercial vehicles, premises liability and occupational disease.

After law school, Ms. DePolis was a clerk to the Hon. Doris A. Smith-Ribner of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. She also served as counsel for the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, where she litigated matters before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Ms. DePolis is active in her community as a cyclist, frequently participating in charitable bike races, including the Bike MS: City to Shore ride and the American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon.
