Sandy regularly draws on the litigation experience gained in the early stages of his career at the York County Public Defender’s Office. As an assistant public defender, Sandy represented underserved defendants in felony and misdemeanor cases. He handled all phases of litigation, from preliminary hearings through trials, including trying cases to verdict before both judges and juries, counseling clients, and negotiating plea offers.
