Chartwell Law Offices associate Michael J. Needleman appointed to Federal District Court Public Interest Panel
On September 13, 2005, Chartwell Law Offices associate, Michael J. Needleman, Esquire was appointed by the Honorable James T. Giles, Chief Judge, to the “Public Interest Civil Litigation Prisoner Civil Rights and Employment” panels of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The Program was established in order to provide pro bono representation to plaintiffs in habeas corpus and Section 1983 litigation, as well as to plaintiffs in Title VII and employment law cases pending in the Eastern District. Panel members are also frequently called upon by Judges and other attorneys in the area to provide guidance in undeveloped and underdeveloped areas of the law. Mr. Needleman’s membership on the Panel will add to his wide-ranging experience in employment litigation and employment-law counseling on behalf of both employees and management.
