Andrew E. Greenberg asked to assist Pennsylvania Defense Institute in workers’ compensation legislative reform effort
Chartwell Law Offices founding partner, Andrew E. Greenberg, Esquire has been asked to assist the Pennsylvania Defense Institute in facilitating workers’ compensation legislative reform in Harrisburg over the next twelve months. While the Pennsylvania Senate and House of Representatives consider a myriad of proposals, some of which seek to eliminate the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, to significantly alter the “statutory employer rule,” and to increase penalties for untimely payment of indemnity and medical benefits, Mr. Greenberg will provide PDI and its associates with strategic insight focusing upon the ramifications of pending legislation. He will also organize discussion in the defense community with the goal of developing legislative reform that will help employers and insurers to more effectively and efficiently administer workers’ compensation claims and to help reduce the cost of doing business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If you have any suggestions or ideas please forward them to Mr. Greenberg at agreenberg@chartwelllaw.com.
