Construction Litigation
As a natural extension of our surety and fidelity practice, an extensive construction law practice is also a significant component of the Firm's litigation practice. For many years, our construction litigation attorneys have handled both large and small construction litigation matters involving design defects, delay and acceleration claims, professional negligence, structural failure issues, liens, cost discrepancies and cost overruns, change order disputes, bankruptcy-related disputes, ambiguities in plans and specifications and bid protests and disputes.
The diversity of the matters that we handle highlights our litigators' broad experience in representing clients in construction matters of all types. Our construction cases have involved everything from waste water treatment plants, water desalinization plants, state-of-the-art commercial
buildings, low income housing projects to residential developments at one point or another. Our lawyers have represented virtually all of the various participants in the construction process including bonding companies, architects, engineers, contractors, construction managers and subcontractors.
