Chartwell Law employees showed their humanitarian spirit by participating in the first annual campaign to end hunger, Feed the Need.  From October 29 through November 22, our employees across 19 offices donated non-perishable food as well as monetary contributions, which were then distributed to local food banks in each offices’ community. At the end of the-food drive, Chartwell Law employee collectively donated over 10,000 combined food items and gift cards!

This Chartwell Cares event was organized by Julie Sauerbrey, a paralegal in the Valley Forge, PA office, who often spearheads the firm’s charitable events. Julie and other office team captains Michelle Rapino (Tallahassee, FL), Lisa Amorosi (Moorestown, NJ), Amanda Bartley (Fort Myers, FL), Megan McVaugh (Philadelphia, PA), Mercedes Alfonso-Sala (Miami, FL), Adam T. Devine (New York, NY), Solange Avallone (Deerfield Beach, FL), Terri Bernal (Nashville, TN), Holly Strassberger (Jacksonville, FL), Erin Egyed (Pittsburgh, PA), Austen Graby (Harrisburg, PA), Lan Player (Orlando, FL), and Lorie Valletta (White Plains,NY) are passionate about giving back to their communities and  worked very hard to bring this year’s event to such great success.

Chartwell Law worked with the non-profit organization Fiorenza’s Food For Friends (F4), who helped identify the food bank recipients in each community location.  F4’s mission is to create a world without hunger by partnering free sources of food with nonprofits that feed the hungry.
