Alexander B. Liles focuses his practice on insurance coverage analysis and litigation. With a strong emphasis on first-party property claims defense, Alex works closely with insurance carriers and their adjusters in creating a defense strategy with the goal of successful resolution while providing cost-effective representation and exceptional customer service to his clients.
Additionally, Alex has experience handling various general liability matters, such as litigation involving construction injuries, product liability, motor vehicle negligence, and premises liability. He also previously worked in the Division of Financial Practices at the Federal Trade Commission, where he handled matters relating to deceptive lending and refinancing practices across the U.S.
Alex also has extensive experience in legislative and public affairs representation. While completing his legal education in Tallahassee, Florida, he assisted in the representation of several Fortune 500 Companies to the Florida legislature and executive branch, ensuring the protection of each client’s individual interests.
Prior to joining the firm, Alex handled general liability and casualty defense matters with a large West Palm Beach law firm.
While in law school, Alex was an editor for the Florida State University Law Review and received a Business Law Certificate based on his curriculum. Alex also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kelly J. McKibben of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.
