Anelise R. Codrington is a general liability defense attorney with experience handling matters at both state and federal courts throughout Georgia. She is accomplished in handling a variety of cases such as but not limited to motor vehicle liability, trucking and transportation liability with a focus on rideshare negligence, as well as wrongful death, negligent security and premises liability. Anelise represents insurance companies and large self-insured businesses across multiple industries, including retail and grocery stores and the transportation sector.

Born in the United Kingdom of Nigerian and Jamaican descent, Anelise brings a multi-cultural view, building relationships with her clients. She is an advocate for increased diversity in the legal profession. She has authored several articles, and while in law school, she was a member of the National Black Law Students Association and served as the Southern Regional BLSA Journal editor. She is passionate about civil rights and human rights, education and the protection of children and provides pro bono assistance to the Atlanta Volunteers Lawyers Foundation.    

Prior to joining the firm, Anelise practiced general liability defense for an Atlanta firm.
