Anthony J. Renaldo focuses his practice exclusively on insurance defense.

Mr. Renaldo has extensive experience representing insurance carriers and their insureds, corporate entities, and individuals on matters involving first and third party insurance litigation. Mr. Renaldo is particularly experienced in handling and resolving all manners of personal injury disputes including complex spine surgery, traumatic brain injuries, and wrongful death claims.

In regard to his property damage practice, which includes the handling of a wide range of commercial, residential, and construction related disputes, Mr. Renaldo previously obtained a summary judgment ruling on a “chipped” tile case in favor of a homeowner’s insurance company. The summary judgment ruling was later affirmed by the 4th District Court of Appeals in the matter of Ergas v. Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Co., 114 So. 3d 286 (Fla. 4th DCA 2013). Since then, the Ergas holding has been adopted across the state and now serves as a deterrent to future “chipped” tile claims.

As a litigator, Mr. Renaldo has extensive experience in trial preparation and strategy. He is able to quickly and proficiently determine the strengths and weaknesses in legal matters, allowing him to develop a clear strategy that moves the case towards the goal of successful resolution. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Renaldo handled first and third party insurance litigation matters for a large Fort Lauderdale, Florida law firm.
