Barak A. Kassutto concentrates his practice assisting employers and insurance carriers in litigating and defending all matters relating to workers’ compensation.
On behalf of his clients, Barak defends claim and reinstatement petitions as well as pursuing termination, earning power based modifications and suspension petitions as well as supersedeas reimbursement applications. He also assists clients in mediations and negotiations, fee review, utilization review, and appeal work.
Barak is an active member of the legal community, as a member of the Brandeis Society, the Jewish law society, and serves on the executive committee as well as the Brandeis Fellowship sub-committee which assists new lawyers and pro bono clients through Philadelphia VIP.
While in law school, Barak received awards for outstanding oral advocacy and graduated as a fellow of the Rubin Public Interest Law Honors Society.
