Carmen Nicolaou has extensive experience representing nightclubs and bars in negligent security claims, as well as assault and battery claims.

Ms. Nicolaou also assists sports and entertainment entities, promoters of live entertainment, property owners and contractors in personal injury actions. She has experience in construction liability, professional liability, property damage claims, products liability, toxic torts, and business torts. In addition, Ms. Nicolaou advises businesses in employment-related compliance issues and state and federal statutory requirements.

An experienced litigator, Ms. Nicolaou frequently authors articles and lectures on negligent security, Dram Shop litigation, toxic torts, labor law, as well as the enforceability of waivers executed in connection with participation in sporting and recreational events.

When not practicing law, Carmen enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her husband and two daughters.
