Christopher D. Pavuk, managing partner of Chartwell Law’s Scranton, Pennsylvania office, focuses his practice on the representation of employers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators and self-insureds in the defense of workers compensation matters.
Chris handles workers’ compensation cases across a variety of industries, including healthcare, trucking and manufacturing. He assists these clients in limiting their liability and exposure. At the onset of an engagement, Chris provides a thorough individual case analysis to determine whether litigation or settlement is the correct path, saving clients money and time.
A leader in the legal community, Chris has been named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® list as seen in both Philadelphia magazine and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers magazine since 2017, in the practice area of workers’ compensation.
Chris served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Richard P. Conaboy of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and Chairman of the United States Sentencing Commission in Washington, D. C. His experience as a federal law clerk introduced him to a wide variety of practice areas including civil rights, Social Security, and employment law litigation.
