Corey Sullivan Martin represents clients in general litigation matters, focusing on insurance defense. She handles tort claims, first-party property claims, insurance coverage matters, and workers’ compensation disputes on behalf of both insurers and large self-insured corporations in state and federal courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Martin was an assistant district attorney for the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts, where she handled all stages of prosecution including taking more than 100 cases to trial.

While in law school, Ms. Martin served as a legal fellow in the Suffolk County Superior Court in Boston, MA, where she prepared draft decisions and legal memoranda for both criminal and civil litigation. She also served as a legal intern for the Institute of Justice and Democracy in Haiti, where she assisted in the prosecution of former President Jean-Claude Duvalier. In addition, Ms. Martin was a symposium editor and staff writer for the Journal for Law and Social Justice.

Notably, before going to law school, Ms. Martin was a Fulbright Scholar studying and teaching bilingual education in Madrid, Spain.
