Danielle M. Butler is a practicing insurance defense attorney providing representation to insurance carriers, large self-insured businesses and third-party administrators. She handles various insurance analyses and claims matters. However, a majority of her defense focuses on first-party property claims.
Danielle enthusiastically analyzes her cases and constantly communicates with her clients as she works to develop a defense strategy that includes their desired results.
Prior to joining Chartwell Law, Danielle served the citizens of Southwest Florida for over a decade as an Assistant State Attorney in the 20th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office in Fort Myers. During her time at the State Attorney’s Office, she handled everything from second degree misdemeanors to capital felonies, including taking numerous cases to trial. Most recently, she was a member of the Postconviction Unit handling complex hearings and motions. During her time as a prosecutor, Danielle honed her research, legal drafting, and courtroom skills making her an efficient and effective litigator and a fierce advocate for her clients. Danielle also served as an instructor in the office’s clerical and attorney training programs.
Danielle has been actively involved in the Lee County Bar Association for many years, previoulsy serving as the Bench Bar Gala Chair from 2016-2020.
