Elizabeth “Liz” Hebel is an insurance defense attorney representing insurance carriers throughout California and Washington. Her focus lies on the analysis of third-party liability coverage disputes involving commercial general liability, professional liability and homeowners claims as well as bad faith matters.
Liz is strategic in evaluating the strengths and weaknesses in her cases and provides continuous communication with her clients throughout the litigation process.
While in law school, Liz was an associate writer for the California Western Law Review and International Law Journal and was honored with the outstanding editor award of same. She was a member of the Pro Bono Honors Society, was awarded the Academic Excellence Award for Trial Skills for Distinguished Advocates and placed second in the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice National Trial Advocacy Competition.
Before joining Chartwell Law, Liz was an associate for a Seattle, Washington firm where she handled insurance defense litigation.
