Elizabeth A. Cavallaro focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense. She defends clients in injury matters, both physical and psychological claims. Lisa has represented a variety of types of employer entities including, municipal, police and firefighters, retail, farming, manufacturing, hospital/healthcare, pharmacy, trucking, construction, restaurant, catering and custodial services.
Lisa handles workers’ compensation claims from start to finish, including investigation, depositions and appeals as necessary. If a claim does not proceed to court, she is seasoned in negotiating beneficial settlements for her clients.
Lisa represents clients before workers’ compensation judges in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as before the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board. In addition to litigation services, Lisa advises employers on a wide variety of risk management issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Lisa worked at a full-service Philadelphia law firm, where she made Principal in 2011. While in law school, Lisa served as a clerk for Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Sandra Schultz Newman.
