George N. Russo concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance defense and general liability defense representing clients in New York and New Jersey courts.

George believes in thoroughly analyzing his client’s position to develop an effective litigation strategy to achieve his client’s legal objectives. Once a strategy has been discussed and agreed upon, George will then vigorously present his client’s interests to achieve the best possible outcome.

Before joining Chartwell Law, George worked as an assistant prosecutor for the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. In this role, he prosecuted a wide variety of criminal cases and successfully obtained a jury verdict for second-degree endangering welfare of a child. Before that, George was an associate for a New York City law firm in which he handled transportation liability cases. He was also a law clerk for the

Honorable Joseph L. Foster, J.T.C. (t/a), Superior Court of New Jersey.

While in law school, George was the legislative editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. He was awarded the Seton Hall Law Success Scholarship.
