Janetlee Garcia focuses her practice on workers’ compensation. As a skilled litigator, she has represented employers, large self-insured businesses and insurance carriers, in all stages of workers’ compensation defense.

Ms. Garcia assists hospitals, medical centers and construction companies in workers’ compensation matters. She also represents carriers, self-insured carriers and other business types. She assists clients in litigation focusing on rightful employer, and, once this is established, sees the case through to settlement or court proceedings.

A seasoned advocate, Ms. Garcia understands the importance of maintaining open lines of communication with opposing counsel. Over the long run, she knows that the quickest way to agreeable resolution can often provide the most cost-effective outcome for her client. She strongly represents her client, while keeping an open mind to other perspectives, working towards agreement or middle ground.

Ms. Garcia considers all aspects of her client’s cases and offers opinion based on her clients’ interests and in obtaining a positive outcome, in the most cost-effective manner.  She evaluates each case on its individual merit, understanding not all defense strategies work for all clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Garcia was a junior partner at a Miami firm where she also handled workers’ compensation defense on behalf of employers and insurance carriers.
