Katherine M. Martinez focuses her practice on insurance defense.

Ms. Martinez represents insurance carriers and large self-insureds in matters pertaining to first and third party defense. She also handles general liability matters including premises liability and medical malpractice.  

Understanding the importance of regular communication with her clients, Ms. Martinez provides consistent status updates and risk exposure analysis at all stages of litigation. She is always responsive and available to her clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Martinez practiced insurance defense and civil litigation with a large firm in the Miami area.  During law school, she served as a legal intern for the Children and Youth Law Clinic at the University of Miami School of Law, where she represented individuals with social services legal matters.
