LaToya Felton is a member of the firm’s general liability and casualty defense team. She represents employers, self-insured organizations, businesses and insurance carriers in the state of New York. She also practices in commercial litigation where she handles various matters involving breach of contract and fraud on behalf of large corporations, small businesses, and individuals.

While in law school, LaToya was the executive editor of the Michigan Journal of Race & Law as well as the co-president of the Black Law Students Association.

Prior to joining Chartwell Law, LaToya was an assistant district attorney for Kings County in Brooklyn, New York, where she handled hundreds of misdemeanor and felony offenses.

In her spare time, LaToya enjoys interior design and learning about the psychology of fashion.
