Luciano N. Patruno exclusively devotes his practice to workers’ compensation defense where he focuses on representing large regional and national self-insured organizations’ interests in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His clients come from a wide array of industries including retail, transportation, facilities management organizations, among others.
Luciano’s goal is to resolve matters as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. Whether he is negotiating a settlement or defending his clients aggressively in court, his goal is to provide the best solution for the client’s specific needs. For example, he recently obtained a defense verdict for a large retail client successfully arguing that a slip and fall incident was staged for the purposes of seeking a legal settlement.
After several years of working in the private sector, Luciano pursued a career in the law. His time spent in healthcare staffing provided him with an in-depth understanding of unemployment issues, workers’ compensation laws, and employment contracts that he draws on today in his practice. Before joining Chartwell Law, he served as an intern for the Office of the Camden County Prosecutor and represented claimants as well as employers in workers’ compensation matters. Of note, while in law school, Luciano was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and achieved certificates of honor in both constitutional law and professional responsibility.
Outside of work, Luciano is devoted to his family and can be found on the court coaching his son’s basketball team for Whitemarsh Youth Basketball League.
