Samantha N. Nugent practices insurance coverage analysis and litigation, focusing on first-party property. She represents both national and international insurance carriers for residential and commercial properties.
Samantha is committed to determining strengths and weaknesses in her legal representation, allowing her to develop a clear strategy that moves toward the goal of successful resolution on behalf of her clients. This includes skillful handling of all stages of litigation from analyzing and drafting pre-suit opinions through trial preparation, drafting and arguing motions, handling expert depositions, and negotiating mediations and settlements.
While attending law school, Samantha was a legal intern in the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office and with the Florida Office of the Attorney General, Office of Statewide Prosecution. Before these roles, she was a judicial intern for the Honorable John K. Olson in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Before joining the firm, Samantha was an associate with a Miami law firm where she handled insurance defense litigation.
