Thomas A. Richard focuses his practice on workers’ compensation defense, representing insurance carriers, self-insureds, and employers in Massachusetts.

Attorney Richard is experienced handling all stages of litigation from reception through appeals to the Reviewing Board.  Working as a workers’ compensation adjuster for a large insurance company before becoming an attorney has given him a two-prong perspective to workers’ compensation claims and allows him to advise his clients in the most efficient and cost-effective approach.

Additionally, Attorney Richard handles general litigation matters including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, dram shop liability, and workers’ compensation lien recovery/subrogation.

Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Richard was an associate with a mid-size litigation firm in Woburn, Massachusetts where he led the firm’s workers’ compensation practice and handled general litigation cases.
