Thomas Gallagher focuses his practice on workers’ compensation and employment law. Mr. Gallagher devotes his practice to the defense of workers’ compensation matters on behalf of insurance carriers, self-insured entities and TPA’s.
He is dedicated to obtaining speedy resolutions prior to extended litigation in order to avoid unnecessary costs and time commitments for his clients. Mr. Gallagher has helped obtain victories for insurance carriers, self-insured entities and TPA’s in claim, penalty, reinstatement, review, termination, suspension and modification petitions.
Prior to joining the team at Chartwell, Mr. Gallagher gained important and meaningful legal knowledge through internships. Mr. Gallagher interned for the Honorable Vito P. Geroulo of the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He also served as a legal intern for the United States Attorney’s Office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. From his experiences, he was able to hone his abilities and talents as a skilled litigator.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Gallagher organized and conducted a presentation on opioid pain creams for the Juniata Valley Employer Advisory Council’s Workers’ Compensation Day.
In his free time, Mr. Gallagher enjoys working out and playing basketball.
