Joseph A. Juliana is a Partner in the Valley Forge office. He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School) and a 1990 graduate of Widener University School of Law. He is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Juliana has served as in-house counsel to Nationwide Insurance Company and Zurich North America in addition to private practice. While in-house counsel, he organized and conducted seminars for the claims’ departments, including a national seminar for Zurich. For 15 years, he practiced exclusively in the area of insurance defense. He has experience in a wide variety of matters including commercial property, construction liability and defect, premises liability, products liability, automobile liability, insurance coverage and subrogation matters in state and federal courts. He currently represents the firm’s clients in the areas of general casualty defense, first and third party insurance coverage defense and in a variety of subrogation matters.
Mr. Juliana has tried cases in both state and federal courts and has extensive arbitration experience with a concentration of UM/UIM matters. In addition, Mr. Juliana has written several appellate briefs and has successfully argued before the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
