Kayla Ranta, an associate in Chartwell Law’s Peoria office, focuses her practice on trucking and transportation law. She is well-versed in the implications of medical marijuana on transportation cases, particularly in relation to medical treatment and billing concerns.
Kayla gained valuable experience while in law school as both a law clerk at the Federal Public Defender’s Office and managing editor of the Southern Illinois University School of Law’s Law Journal. Kayla credits those experiences with honing her writing abilites and her courtroom skills, providing the insights she uses daily to effectively represent her clients at all stages of litigation.
When she is not at the office, Kayla enjoys traveling and spending time with Juna and Rocky, her Black Labrador and Great Pyrenees.
