Addison Robinson focuses her practice on civil litigation, where she works closely with clients to assess potential exposure, develop effective defense strategies, and move matters toward resolution. She handles written discovery and depositions and prepares matters for mediation, ensuring clients stay informed as their cases progress.
Before joining Chartwell, Addison gained experience in both private practice and corporate legal settings. She also served as a judicial intern with the Georgia Court of Appeals, where she assisted judges and staff attorneys with legal research, writing, and analysis. Her in-house experience included work involving contracts, data privacy, intellectual property, employment matters, and corporate governance.
Prior to law school, Addison worked as an insurance claims adjuster, managing a substantial caseload. That experience provides her with a holistic understanding of the claims process and insight into the practical considerations that can influence how a claim is handled and ultimately resolved.
Addison earned her J.D. from Mercer University School of Law, where she received a Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research & Drafting. An avid leader, she served as Chair of the Southern Region of the National Black Law Students Association. She also holds an M.B.A. from Mercer University Stetson-Hatcher School of Business and completed her undergraduate studies at Mercer University.
