Andrew Tingkang focuses his practice on general liability and insurance defense matters, bringing more than a decade of experience across civil litigation, insurance defense, and large-scale eDiscovery.
Andrew has defended homeowners, contractors, businesses, and individual defendants in a wide range of civil matters, including personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, contract disputes, and professional liability claims. His experience encompasses all phases of litigation, including trial preparation, managing expert and witness preparation, drafting pretrial briefs, and litigating dispositive and evidentiary motions. He also has experience working with large scale eDiscovery matters.
In addition to his litigation practice, Andrew has extensive experience handling high-volume document review projects, including serving as a primary and quality control reviewer on long-term matters for major corporate clients. He has led targeted review teams, managed privilege and redaction workflows, and worked extensively with e-discovery platforms to support large, document-intensive litigation.
Andrew is admitted to practice in Washington, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law, where he served as a Lead Article Editor of the Seattle University Law Review and received a CALI Award for excellence in Contracts. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Washington.
Andrew is a member of the Filipino Lawyers of Washington and a lifelong resident of the Puget Sound region. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys cooking, gaming, and staying involved in the local sports community.
