Elizabeth (“Beth”) Walker serves as Of Counsel at Chartwell, concentrating her practice on the defense of significant civil litigation matters. With more than three decades of trial experience, Beth represents insurers and self-insured entities in claims involving alleged civil rights violations, premises liability, construction accidents, commercial vehicle and auto claims, and other tort matters.
Beth has spent her career defending clients in challenging litigation, including matters involving employment discrimination, intentional torts, and claims seeking punitive damages. Before joining Chartwell, she worked in-house for an insurance company, where she defended commercial insureds across a broad spectrum of tort litigation.
An accomplished trial advocate, Beth is regularly involved in all phases of litigation. She approaches challenging matters with confidence and efficiency, applying practical judgment to keep cases on track and aligned with client objectives.
Beth is also deeply committed to professional development within the firm. She dedicates significant time to mentoring junior attorneys, sharing her trial experience, and supporting the growth of the next generation of litigators.
Beth earned her Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Outside the office, Beth volunteers in leadership roles with faith-based organizations and enjoys cooking, particularly on her outdoor grill.
