Gwendolina (“Gwen”) Moszczenski focuses her practice on pre-litigation investiga-tions, claims evaluation, and defense strategy, with an emphasis on commercial trans-portation and trucking matters. She represents motor carriers, insurers, self-insured en-tities, and drivers in connection with motor vehicle accidents and liability claims.
Gwen works closely with her clients and insurance adjusters to investigate accidents and assess potential liability or damages. She also draws on input from industry experts to develop effective defense strategies before litigation begins. Gwen’s emphasis on early investigation and thorough case preparation helps clients make informed deci-sions and position matters for efficient resolution or defense.
Before joining Chartwell, Gwen gained extensive experience as a paralegal and law clerk, supporting injury and defense litigation in Missouri and Illinois. She also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Joseph A. Rathert in the 23rd Judicial Circuit, where she researched and presented legal arguments in open court and observed pro-ceedings across domestic, civil, and juvenile matters.
A graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law, Gwen was a staff editor for the ABA Journal of Labor and Employment Law and served on the executive board of the First Generation Society. She earned her paralegal certificate from Duquesne Universi-ty, where she was inducted into the Lambda Epsilon Chi National Honor Society, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Communication Studies from Shippensburg Uni-versity.
Outside the office, Gwen enjoys golfing with her husband and cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.
