Ian Salmon focuses his practice on civil litigation and insurance defense, with experience handling a broad range of general liability matters throughout Florida. He represents clients through all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.

Ian manages liability matters involving premises liability, trucking negligence, motor vehicle accidents, product defect claims, and other third-party litigation. He regularly develops defense strategies, assesses liability exposure, prepares detailed client reporting, and works closely with clients to position cases for efficient and favorable resolution. In addition to his litigation practice, Ian has experience mentoring and training attorneys on discovery practice, case development, and client communication.

Before focusing exclusively on litigation, Ian gained valuable experience in the financial services industry, where he worked in regulatory compliance, financial security analysis, and anti-money laundering matters for national and international banking institutions. His background in business and compliance provides him with a holistic and analytical perspective when evaluating sophisticated legal and factual issues.

Ian earned his J.D. from Barry University School of Law. He also holds an M.B.A. from Stetson University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. He is admitted to practice in Florida.
