John Appelbaum is a civil litigator whose practice centers on general liability and casualty defense, supported by years of experience in appellate advocacy and trial strategy. He has argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals and has handled all phases of litigation, from drafting and litigating appellate briefs and dispositive motions to preparing witnesses, conducting depositions, and assisting at trial. John’s background in both trial-level and appellate work gives him a comprehensive perspective that benefits clients facing even the most challenging disputes.

John earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2019, where he concentrated in Health Law. He received his B.S. in Professional Writing from Missouri State University in 2010.

Outside the office, John enjoys spending time with his two young children. He also has a passion for yoga, cooking, history, music, theater, literature, and film.
