Jacqueline M. Vernon focuses her practice on civil litigation and insurance defense matters, representing clients in cases involving premises liability, construction accidents, professional liability, condominium association claims, and other general liability disputes. She has extensive experience handling all phases of litigation, including motion practice, depositions, court appearances, settlement negotiations, risk transfer and tender matters, and appeals. Earlier in her career, Jacqui practiced in the area of intellectual property litigation and biotechnology-related matters, where she analyzed scientific and pharmaceutical patents, drafted patent applications and legal memoranda, and assisted with litigation strategy. She also served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County Appeals Bureau, where she argued cases before New York appellate courts and drafted appellate briefs and motions in both state and federal matters.
