Klyde Bedford focuses his practice on insurance coverage and civil litigation, representing insurers and other clients in matters involving first-party and commercial property claims, general liability disputes, premises liability, auto accidents, and bad faith defense. He advises insurance carriers on coverage determinations, statutory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies, and manages cases from inception through resolution. His experience includes conducting and defending depositions of fact and expert witnesses, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and advocating for clients in state and federal court proceedings.

Fluent in Spanish, English, and Haitian Creole, and conversational in French, Klyde brings an international perspective to his work. Before entering private practice, he contributed to high-level legal research and policy discussions with the United Nations International Law Commission in Geneva, focusing on topics such as state official immunity, treaty application, and atmospheric protection.

Klyde earned his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law, where he was a Dean’s List recipient multiple times, and his B.A. in Philosophy from Florida International University. He is admitted to practice in Florida and New York.

An avid tennis player since kindergarten, Klyde remains passionate about the sport and is a devoted follower of both the ATP and WTA tours.
