Kyle Scher focuses his practice on insurance defense litigation, representing insurers, businesses, and their insureds in a wide range of personal injury and property damage matters. His work encompasses every stage of litigation, including drafting and responding to pleadings, managing discovery, conducting depositions, preparing witnesses, arguing motions, and participating in mediations and settlement negotiations. Clients value Kyle’s clear communication style, thorough case preparation, and ability to evaluate exposure and move matters toward efficient and informed outcomes.
Before entering private practice, Kyle gained judicial experience through a legal internship with the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Hillsborough County, where he conducted legal research for a family law judge, observed hearings and trials, and prepared written memoranda. He also provided pro bono support through the Hillsborough County Family Forms Clinic, assisting self-represented individuals with navigating procedural requirements and completing mandatory filings.
Kyle earned his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and holds a B.A. from Hofstra University. He is admitted to practice in Florida.
