Miguel Maldonado Santelises is an attorney in Chartwell’s New York office, where he focuses his practice on general liability matters. He brings a strong background in legal research, writing, and advocacy to the firm.
Miguel began his career with Chartwell as a law clerk in 2024, where he quickly distinguished himself through his analytical skills and attention to detail. During his clerkship, he drafted a motion to dismiss that was granted in full by the court, demonstrating his ability to develop persuasive arguments and deliver results for clients. While completing his LL.M. at St. John’s University School of Law, Miguel was the recipient of the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award for attaining the highest GPA in his class. He also gained valuable firsthand experience in litigation practice through an internship at the New York Supreme Court.
In addition to his U.S. legal training, Miguel practiced law in the Dominican Republic, bringing international perspective to his work at Chartwell. He also holds a Master’s in Cybersecurity from Fordham University, further broadening the depth of knowledge he applies to client matters.
