Megan Martin is a seasoned litigation attorney with more than two decades of experience representing clients in state courts, federal courts, and administrative tribunals. Her practice encompasses personal injury defense, labor and employment litigation, workers’ compensation, risk management, and regulatory compliance. She has a long history of defending insurance carriers, guiding local governments through challenging legal matters, and advising leadership teams on emerging regulatory issues that impact their operations.

Megan is known for her exceptional writing and analytical skills, which have resulted in numerous case wins through summary judgment and early dismissal. She has served as trusted counsel to public entities, state agencies, and insurers defending against claims involving premises liability, automobile accidents, employment disputes, and municipal liability.

In addition to her litigation background, Megan has extensive experience training government officials and professionals on key legal topics, including employment law compliance, ADA and FMLA requirements, workplace investigations, diversity and inclusion, human resources best practices, and ethics in local government. She is a frequent speaker for statewide organizations and has written extensively on evolving legal issues affecting Georgia’s local governments and public-sector professionals.

Megan’s commitment to public service includes multiple leadership roles within Georgia’s county government community, where she contributed to statewide policy discussions and provided guidance on legislative matters. She previously served as County Attorney for a Georgia Board of Commissioners and held several positions on committees and councils focused on county governance.

A Georgia-licensed attorney since 2004, Megan earned her J.D. from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, where she was a Frances Wood Wilson and Thomas Edward Ryals Scholar. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Reinhardt College.
