Magdalena Perlman focuses her practice on civil litigation and insurance defense, representing insurance carriers and institutional clients in high-exposure liability matters involving premises liability, transportation accidents, construction-related claims, complex tort litigation, employment disputes, medical malpractice, and civil rights matters. She brings nearly two decades of litigation experience and has handled all phases of litigation, from early case assessment through resolution.

Magdalena works closely with insurance carriers and claims professionals to evaluate liability exposure, develop litigation strategies, assess reserves, and position matters for favorable resolution. She has extensive experience managing multi-party litigation, directing discovery, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, coordinating expert development, and representing clients in mediations and settlement negotiations. Her practice emphasizes results-oriented approaches that align litigation strategy with client objectives while maintaining a focus on efficiency and cost management.

Throughout her career, Magdalena has successfully secured dismissals in high-exposure liability matters through targeted motion practice and early case evaluation. She has also advised organizational leadership and insurance professionals on risk assessment, settlement considerations, and litigation management in matters involving significant potential exposure.

Magdalena earned her J.D., cum laude, from New York Law School and is admitted to practice in New York, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
