Sadie A. Horner focuses her practice on civil litigation matters, including personal injury claims, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, and non-subscriber workplace actions. She supports litigation teams at every stage of a case, from early case analysis through pre-trial and appellate proceedings.
A skilled legal researcher and writer, Sadie has extensive experience drafting and arguing motions and pleadings. Her work includes preparing special appearances, challenges to venue, removals to federal court, motions to compel arbitration, designation of responsible third parties, summary judgment motions, Daubert/Robinson motions, motions in limine, jury charges, and other critical pre-trial filings. She also assists with in-house appellate work and coordinates with outside appellate counsel when matters proceed on appeal.
Sadie has contributed legal research and drafting support on hundreds of litigation and pre-litigation matters. She has also co-authored numerous articles and presentations for organizations such as the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and the Defense Research Institute on topics including civil litigation strategy, damages, trucking litigation, and evidentiary issues.
Sadie earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2012. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2009.
She is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas. Sadie is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association, and she has earned an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, signifying the highest standards of professional excellence and ethics.
Outside of her legal practice, Sadie enjoys reading fantasy and historical nonfiction, watching science fiction and monster movies, traveling, and spending time with her four dogs.
