Congratulations to Derek Lloyd, Anthony Renaldo, Jeremy Nataf, and assistant Elena Escoto who obtained a summary judgment ruling in Orange County, Florida on a Whole Foods (or slip and fall) case. Chartwell argued that Whole Foods (or the client) lacked notice of the alleged dangerous foreign substance on the floor at the time of the accident. The Court agreed and dismissed the almost three-year-old case within 48 hours before trial was to start. Plaintiff was 23 years-old and underwent a meniscal repair to her right knee with over $80,000.00 in past medical damages.
