Chartwell Law continues to expand its first-party property defense team firm-wide, with significant growth taking place in Florida. The firm has announced the addition of three new associate attorneys, Whitney M. Bird, Phillip M. Lastella, and Alexander M. Goerss to the Florida team.
Ms. Bird represents insurance carriers and large employers throughout Florida in first-party property litigation. She is also handling workers’ compensation defense and has a strong background in matters within the construction industry. Bird is in the firm’s Fort Myers, FL office.
Mr. Lastella is in the firm’s Deerfield Beach, FL office and will focus primarily on first-party property defense.
Mr. Goerss represents national and international insurance companies in first-party property defense matters and is in the firm’s Miami, FL office. In addition to insurance defense matters he is handling commercial litigation defense.
The addition of Ms.Bird, Mr. Lastella, and Mr. Goerss further solidifies Chartwell Law’s capabilities in representing our clients’ insurance defense cases across the state of Florida.
