

With extensive experience in high-volume criminal litigation, Alexandra G. Fox has managed over 100 active felony and misdemeanor cases at a time, guiding matters from initial investigation through trial and resolution. She brings substantial experience in trial advocacy, motion practice, constitutional litigation, and client-centered representation. At Chartwell, Alexandra focuses her practice on workers’ compensation matters, applying her background in fast-paced, high-stakes litigation to deliver efficient and detail-oriented advocacy.
Her trial experience includes all phases of litigation, including jury selection, direct and cross-examination, and closing arguments. She has litigated suppression hearings involving Fourth and Fifth Amendment issues and has drafted and argued a wide range of pre-trial motions, including motions to suppress, motions in limine, and bail modifications. Alexandra is also skilled in negotiating case resolutions and advising clients on both immediate outcomes and broader legal implications.
In addition to her litigation practice, Alexandra has contributed to statewide efforts aimed at improving the sustainability of public defense. She is a member of the Public Defender Association of Pennsylvania’s Retention and Sustainability Committee, co-author of the Pennsylvania Public Defender Retention & Sustainability Report, and has presented at multiple PDAP trainings offering Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits.
Alexandra is recognized for her ability to balance rigorous legal advocacy with a client-centered approach, ensuring individuals are informed, supported, and empowered throughout the legal process. Her practice is grounded in strong preparation, attention to detail, and clear communication.
She earned her J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School, where she was named to the Dean’s List and was an active member of the First Generation Law Student Association and Phi Alpha Delta. She also served as Vice President of Alumni Relations and participated in a Youth Court alternative intervention program. She received her B.S. in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from Pennsylvania State University Altoona, where she served as President of the Altoona Chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, The National Criminal Justice Honor Society, and as captain of the dance team.
