Anthony Jones focuses his practice on workers’ compensation matters. He brings experience supporting litigation and regulatory matters through detailed research, drafting, and case preparation, with a strong foundation in legal analysis and developing practical solutions.
During law school, Anthony gained hands-on experience as a law clerk, drafting pleadings in foreclosure matters, analyzing governing documents, and working directly with clients and counsel to help resolve disputes. He also served as a federal judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, conducting legal research and assisting in drafting reports, recommendations, and orders on pending motions. His background also includes work with a public defender’s office and a pardon and expungement clinic, where he supported clients through various stages of the legal process.
Anthony earned his J.D. from The University of Akron School of Law, where he was active in the Black Law Students Association and served as Treasurer. He also participated as a Social Justice Fellow. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Marietta College, where he was a member of the track and field team and served as team captain.
