Caden Polkuzio concentrates his practice on workers’ compensation defense, drawing on his litigation training and dispute resolution experience to advocate for clients effectively. He brings a strong background in legal research and case analysis, prioritizing client-focused service in every matter he handles.
During law school, Caden gained hands-on experience handling discrimination claims, conducting legal research, and drafting key documents on employment-related issues. He also trained as a mediator, helping parties manage workplace disputes by facilitating open communication and guiding them toward mutually beneficial resolutions. His earlier professional experience as a police officer further sharpened his investigative skills and ability to remain composed under pressure—qualities that serve him well in the practice of law. He also served a year in AmeriCorps VISTA as a volunteer coordinator for the Head Start Program in Baltimore, Maryland.
Caden earned his J.D. at Rutgers University Newark School of Law and his B.A. in Philosophy and Religion from Colgate University, where he was inducted into Colgate’s Senior Honors Society, formally known as Konosioni (KONO), and recognized with multiple leadership awards.
At Rutgers, Caden served as a staff editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and was an active member of the National Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, the Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA), and the National Black Law Students Association (NBALSA). He also held leadership roles in the Student Bar Association (SBA) and Association of Black Law Students (ABLS).
Beyond his professional achievements, Caden is most proud of being the "fun uncle" to his nephews and niece. He is also his grandmother’s favorite grandchild and enjoys baking, embroidery, and spending time with his two cats.
