Ian McReynolds focuses his practice on general liability and casualty defense, retail industry matters, personal injury defense, and motor vehicle liability. He represents businesses, insurers, and individuals in a variety of civil litigation matters, developing strategies that align with client goals and minimize risk. Ian’s experience includes drafting and arguing dispositive motions, conducting legal research on complex and emerging issues, preparing for and attending depositions, and counseling clients on compliance and litigation strategy.
Ian earned his J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, where he graduated in the top 25% of his class. While in law school, he served as Lead Article Editor for the Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy and received multiple awards for his legal writing and oral advocacy. He also holds a B.S., summa cum laude, in Criminal Justice from Western New England University, where he served as Student Senate President. Ian is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Outside of his legal practice, Ian is an avid runner, has played the trombone for more than 15 years, and has been sailing since childhood—often spending time on the water with his family aboard their sailboat.
