Jack Abdalla focuses his practice on workers’ compensation defense, representing employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in contested claims and litigation matters. He assists clients through all phases of workers’ compensation litigation, including hearings, depositions, and motion practice, with a focus on practical and defensible results.
In addition to handling core workers’ compensation defense matters, Jack regularly assists with Medical Fee Review disputes and has successfully negotiated resolutions in this evolving and highly technical area. He continues to build depth in this niche, developing it into an increasingly significant component of his practice.
Jack is known for his strong research and writing skills, which support his work in motion practice and claim analysis. He approaches each matter with careful preparation and a practical mindset aimed at achieving efficient, well-supported outcomes for clients.
Jack earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where he served as an editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and as an assistant editor for the Journal of Law and Philosophy. He received his B.A. in History and Government, magna cum laude, from Franklin and Marshall College, where he was a Dana Scholar, Marshall Fellow, and a member of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society.
Before joining Chartwell, Jack gained experience through multiple law clerk positions, where he developed a solid foundation in workers’ compensation and general liability matters while supporting litigation through legal research, drafting, and preparation for depositions and mediations.
Outside the office, Jack enjoys chess, Philadelphia sports, and spending time with his wife and their dog, String Bean.
