Jennifer Amada focuses her practice on workers’ compensation, bringing a strong foundation in
litigation preparation and client advocacy to her work at Chartwell. Prior to joining the firm, she
handled personal injury matters, including but not limited to, motor vehicle collisions, premises
liability, workplace injuries, and medical malpractice. Her judicial internships with both the New
Jersey Superior Court and the Supreme Court of New York’s Mediation Department provided
valuable insight into case analysis, settlement facilitation, and trial strategy.
Jennifer earned her J.D. from New York Law School, where she received a full-tuition Trustee
Scholar Award and was named to the Dean’s List. While in law school, she served as a junior
editor of the ABA Family Law Quarterly, secretary for If/When/How: Lawyering for
Reproductive Justice, and a member of the Trial Competition Team. She holds a B.A. in
Strategic Communication, magna cum laude, from Rutgers University.
Jennifer is admitted to practice in New Jersey and is an active member of the Hudson County
Young Lawyers Association. Outside of the office, she is a committed volunteer, an avid
traveler, and an enthusiastic foodie. She loves exploring the NYC restaurant scene—and she
never misses a meeting of her two book clubs.
