Jarett’s practice includes assisting clients in various product liability claims, the defense of employee, director, and officer liability actions, insurance coverage evaluations and opinions, and prosecution and defense of declaratory judgment actions relating to insurance and indemnity obligations.
Jarett takes a proactive role in counseling clients on risk management, in addition to risk transfer techniques and strategies. He aims to intervene before losses occur, though once a claim is made or litigation commences, he aids clients in mitigating and limiting any potential damages and shifting the risk to other entities and insurers.
Jarett has lectured at Columbia University’s School of Continuing Education’s Masters in Sports Management Program, where he spoke on the topic of “Torts and Sports Law” – Intentional Torts and Negligence.
While in law school, Jarett was a member of the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal.
