Katherine E. Bavoso, a partner in Chartwell’s Harrisburg office, concentrates exclusively on the defense of workers’ compensation claims for carriers, TPAs, and self-insured employers. With more than twenty years of experience, she has practiced before numerous Pennsylvania judges, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, and the Commonwealth Court.
Katie has presented at the Bench and Bar Best Practices seminar, the Best Practices in Workers’ Compensation seminar, the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Bureau Conference, and the Tough Problems in Workers’ Compensation seminar. In December 2025, she was elected a Fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers, a distinguished, invitation-only honor recognizing sustained excellence and leadership in workers’ compensation law. Before joining Chartwell, Katie was a partner in the Harrisburg office of a regional law firm.
Katie is a passionate Florida Gators fan and a member of the Harrisburg Area Women’s Soccer League.
